Description

1. The Pump Park is frequently used by local kids & local schools (Mabin, Avenue Art School). Despite the fact that the Pumping Stn supplies water to most of the city, the kids don't have access to a water facility (eg. splash pad, wading pool)

2. The only wading pool facility in the area is in Lionel Conacher Park. However, unlike most other city wading pools, it has limited weekday hrs. Plus, the pool is CLOSED every weekend. A user-operated splash pad (ie. you press the button, water appears -- no lifeguards required) would enable longer hours during both weekday & weekend

The next closest water park is Ramsden Park however it is in a very poor state & gets crowded.
