Dangerous, awkward intersection

12:13 Nov 28 2012 Davenport & Boulton Dr intersection

Description
The Davenport-Boulton-MacPherson intersection is dangerous for cyclists and pedestrians
- Northbound traffic does not stop, and although they should yield to pedestrians, they rarely do
- The bike lanes on Boulton end just north of the intersection, squeezing all southbound and northbound users into one lane
- Southbound traffic from Boulton weaves awkwardly with southbound Davenport traffic. Bicycles, in particular, must weave to the rightmost bike lane.
- Cyclists turning left onto Davenport northbound must deal with aggressive drivers, and change two lanes within a very short distance
Credibility: UP DOWN 0
