Complete streets design

13:23 Nov 28 2012 Dupont Visioning Study

Description
My comments pertain to the entire length of Dupont in the study area. The streetscape is unattractive, it is not pleasant for walking, cycling nor driving. For driving it should be reduced to one continuous lane each way, with left turn lanes at major intersections and loading turnouts for businesses. Continuous bike lanes should be installed, sidewalks widened where there is room, with landscaping. Roncesvalles is the best example I can think of in Toronto.
